Heute waren wir mal im Immigration Museum in Melbourne, dort hat ein Deutsches Fest statgefunden zum Auftakt der Foto-Austellung "Far away so close" uber Deutsche in Australien und Australier in Deutschland...

Bei dem Fest gab es solche Highlights wie:
* Traditional German foods, such as black forest cake, pretzels, bratwurst sausage – and, of course, beer

* Performances from music and dance groups including the Victorian Accordion Orchestra, Templer Choir, the German Lutheran St John’s Choir, DJ sakamoiz, the Accordion Accents Ensemble, Schuhplattler, Carnivals Dancers Tivoli and the Billanook Primary School Choir

* Children’s activities including finger-puppet-making, fairytale story colouring-in, make your own German cityscape and Schultueten (traditional gift for children starting school)
* Opportunities to learn some German language

* Hans Hahnemann, the roving organ grinder

* An appearance by Schnappi the Crocodile

... ja sehr ausfregend.... Naja, aber ein netter Tag war es trotzdem denn man hat viele Bekannte Gesichter dort getroffen (von Schnappi mal abgesehen).
